Biography
Tim Street is the Associate Director at Bradford Woods, IU’s Outdoor Center located in Martinsville. Tim is a two-time IU alum (BA in Journalism, 2003; Master’s in Public Affairs, 2010) and has worked in the Outdoor Education field for more than 15 years. Tim is passionate about using outdoor experiences to build connections between participants while fostering environmental literacy and stewardship. In addition to his work at Bradford Woods, Tim has been an Instructor with Indiana University Outdoor Adventures for the past decade, has taught a number of outdoor classes in the School of Public Health, and has volunteered for numerous roles with non-profits and other organizations, including a stint as a board member with the Wilderness Education Association. Tim is a passionate birder, photographer, native plant enthusiast, hiker, and runner.
Tim joined the Bloomington Professional Council in 2019 in hopes of representing the IU-Bloomington staff and enacting meaningful change that allows staff to more effectively complete their jobs.
