I am originally from Liverpool, England and came to IU in 2002 as an undergraduate student. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Certificate in Business Foundations from Indiana University in 2006 and went on to pursue Master of Science in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University in 2009. I worked at IU for 9 years in Housing and Residential Life coordinating the daily operations of a residence hall serving over 1000 students. In my current role I serve as an Assistant Director for Career Services at the School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering. I primarily do career advising for all graduate students in the school and focus on helping students achieve their personal career goals. I also focus on supporting our international students in the school by developing programming and resources tailored to fit the needs of this particular population. A few years ago I was the recipient of a grant that enabled me to attend a conference that achieved a professional goal that I had for many years. Therefore, I would like to help other professionals achieve their professional goals, help connect people to resources and opportunities at IU and serve as an advocate for my colleagues regarding issues that will help improve their experience as an employee at IU.
