Gwen is Director, Human Resources Administration, Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs with 20 years Indiana University, Bloomington Campus service. She served as Manager of Health Care & Welfare and Manager of Employee Relations within University Human Resources and as Assistant Director of Administrative Services within the Physical Plant, meeting the university’s mission.

Gwen’s experiences provide the knowledge and skills in leading and training others; developing and implementing programs; administering and ensuring policy, federal, and state regulatory compliance; as well as in performing consultant and liaison duties requiring strategic interface among University Human Resources, Affirmative Action, Worker’s Compensation, Legal Counsel, Finance, CWA and AFSCME unions. She wants to give back by serving as a board member committed to enhancement of policies and practices for professional staff. Having served as a volunteer for Professional Interests and Grant Selection Committees, she understands and praises IUBPC’s mission and leadership. She says, "Working with the IUBPC is a self enhancement that maintains continuous growth while working with to meet the University's mission and its continuous growth."

Hobbies: Gwen's interests include gardening, music, vintage dolls, and enjoying life!

Prior IUBPC Experience: Gwen is about to complete a 3 year term on the board from 2013 through 2016. She chaired the Outreach and Advocacy Committee for 2 years and is currently IUBPC Representative for Campus-Wide Committee on Accessibility-Ad Hoc. She previously worked on the following IUBPC Committees: Professional Interests Committee, IUBPC Grant Selection Committee, and IUBPC contact for Grievance Process Assistance
