Previously Jeremy was a career counselor for the Kelley School of Business, administrative assistant for the chair of biology, associate director for the Jim Holland Summer Enrichment Program, program manager for the Science, Technology, and Research Scholars program and the Integrated Freshman Learning Experience, and associate director of science outreach for the College of Arts & Sciences. Jeremy served as an IUBPC representative in 2011-2012.

Jeremy has earned the following degrees: BA in Telecommunications, ’00, Indiana University with minors in Communication & Culture, Sociology, and Gender Studies; Currently earning Campus Emergency Preparedness Certificate (CEPC).

At IU, Jeremy serves as a key member of Biology’s senior management team, providing professional consultation to a myriad of human resources issues relative to staff and academic employees. He oversees recruitment efforts, manages the visa process for foreign nationals, and directs all employee relations activities for the department including FMLA, corrective action, and performance management. He is an advocate for professional development and encourages all professional, support, and service staff to take advantage of the tremendous training opportunities offered through UHR organizational development courses and other avenues (e.g., IT, FMS, CEPC, etc.). He also supports the university’s Healthy IU and work-life balance initiatives and hopes to inspire others to be more proactive about their personal and mental well-being.
